WM 6.5 Plugins Galore
I know some of us forgot what a plugin is because of TF3D but if we go back about 18 months it was as good as things got. Well, with WM 6.5 comes a new set of plugins to add to your home screen. And thanks to thedaniel of XDA we have a complete list of all available plugins in one easy thread. This includes plugins to get to Microsoft Office quicker, use PocketTwit, Facebook Mobile and Facebook Chat, System Panel (shows RAM, storage and SD Card availability), favorite people, weather info, Opera 6.5 bookmarks, skinable analog clock, program tab and a quick program launcher.
The thread can be found here. Great work thedaniel. For those out there with 6.5 it’s a huge help and for those of us looking forward to 6.5 it’s good to know that plugins are being developed now so when official ROMs are released we’ll be ready.

alamfour I know what you mean. We come here to get Fuze news. If we wanted all the other WM news we would go to mobilitydigest.com instead. There we get all the news about fuze, tilt and WM. Please make fuzemobility fuze only and tiltmobility tilt only.
This way we get the news we want.
On topic tho, I like the idea of the quick program launcher I think it will be very usefull in helping to not go to start page all the time to launch an app.
dregon well… some fuzers are running 6.5 , so someone needs to work on the future. let’em if you don’t like the post, well go to the archives, always good stuff there. alot is going down right now with the new phones coming down the pipe, so roll with it. its cool new stuff and all. yes this is “FUZEmobility” but its all good. keep up the good work David K.
brian yeah i have 6.5 on my fuze and its the best the phone has ever been so its pretty relevant
David K 6.5 is the future and a lot of people do have 6.5 ROMs today. Hopefully we’ll get an official ROM update with 6.5 in it and it’s good to know what to expect in any case. This is a niche site so we’re not posting on the blackberry but 6.5 can and does run on the Fuze and that’s why we cover it.
What I really want is a modified music plugin that uses a alternative media player “htc media manager” that doesnt use as much ram and cpu.
Also it would be nice if they did like on the time screen, but instead added playback buttons and made it where swiping the tab changes albums.
Hopefully microsoft in the final version of 6.5 will fine tweak media player to be more finger friendly and less resource intensive. Also hopefully they will make the today panel more “zune” like
