That’s why I said variant. The HD2 is getting a ton of attention right now, and rightly so, it is an awesome device, so my comment was meant to say that an HD2 variant along with WinMo 7 is an awesome thought. I didn’t say that WinMo 7 would be released in the first Quarter, I said that the HD2 would.

RTM means: Release To Manufacturers

All the other sites with this news note that this would be the RTM release, whatever that means, and that phones with WM7 wouldn’t appear until months later. So no, the HD2 won’t be coming with WM7. April isn’t even part of the first quarter of the year to begin with.

And to think that the U.S. version of a phone would have something before the European version is just silly.
