As A PointUI fan i am offended by the statement "you are limited by the applets"... this is untrue...
If you can program it ... or worst case scenario start a new topic asking someone to program it for you... you can have it.

Even better is the customisations (in the true sense of the word) that are coming out now (Next Gen, PointSense, + more on the drawing board)

PointUI is the best UI there is for the novice or the expert. I have it on the vogue6900 and it makes this tough phone better than a iphone to me. Its fast, its hackable, its stable and if it had more community support would be better than all else. Have anyone seen the NextGen over at PointUI or youtube. The best UI I have seen. Hope it get more attention.

I tried SPB and found it very confusing. Winterface was easy to install and configure. I thinks it interesting that you linked to a review of version 1.2. Many items were cleaned up in version 1.3.1. I bought 1.2 hoping for skins and some fixes. Fixes happened in 1.3 and I hope skins are coming in 1.4?? There are other places that offer Winterface skins. I have had no problems with blue tooth or ring tones. I think it works great and is simple to customize.

I'm using WisBar Advance Desktop because I like the FULL CONTROL it gives me over the interface. If I don't like a feature, I can change how it behaves. It I don't like its appearance, I can change how it looks. If I find that I need an additional feature, I can add a new one. Does that make me an A-type personality? I just know what I like and how I work. ;-)

Yes i agree with "shylohmonster on July 1, 2009 @ 10:00 am" www.throttlelauncher.com UI is a must have in this list.
I have been using TL for some month with good results and since some days i'm trying SPB MS3:
pros: nice interface, very lightweight
cons: just a little redundant (mostly general carousel and carousel-contacts), too few widgets and intricate to customize.

Wow, very interested in pointui, it seems at is really is the front runner of the bunch.

I'll keep watching it, and maybe toss it on top of an EnergyROM, for now, i'm sticking with TF3D2, its a bit sluggish but its what I'm accustomed to using
