TouchFlo3D 2.5 Previewed
PocketNow has provided a link to the German website UDK which got their hands on the upcoming Firestone along with the new version of TF3D that comes along with it. Notably, it has a better today screen (that includes an app launcher on the home screen without needed to go to another tab), a footprints tab and enhanced settings options (more finger friendly and it hides WM better).
And if you’re really into it you can watch a little video preview (also in German).
So, do you think TF3D will keep evolving or is it a lost cause? This doesn’t seem to be a huge leap from TF3D2 but nonetheless there are some welcomed improvements here.

its really a shame that HTC wont officially update TF3D on the Raphael. Although I kinda like their android interface more, it seems cleaner and I like how you can arrange it to your liking.
i really like the home screen on this and i think we have a better chance of getting this soon rather than, say, sense ui. that being said, it was a big enough task for the folks at xda to port over tf3d 2 for vga so i’m not sure how much incentive there will be to port a somewhat incremental update. would love to have it though!
My presumption is that the manila files can be extracted and then imported into tf3d2 so tat the home and footprints tabs shouldn’t be too difficult to port.
Very nice Home tab. Looks like the People tab works like the old Program tab. And the enhanced Calender tab looks sharp.
During a week spent at home following surgery, I tried about seven different ROMs and all kinds of variations of TF3D and TF3D2. What I ended up with is NATF 4.7 with SPB mobile shell. Yep.
I really like TF3D2 and there are elements I still want. It seems TF3D 2.5 delivers as I like the widget spaces on the home page to give quick access. But MS3’s split personality, from the pro layout with a quick view of what I have for the work day to the lifestyle layout with all of the customizable elements, I love it.
Sense UI looks like the proper evolution, and I will probably stick with MS3 until Sense UI comes to 6.5.
[...] a little buggy and it’s a pretty heavy application. There’s only a hand full of people using TF3D 2.5 at this time so I won’t separate it but it is very [...]
