Touch Pro Verizon ETA: November 24th
Look what BGR got their hands on – some user guides for the upcoming Verizon version of our Fuze…excuse me, Touch Pro. Details are still a little iffy here but it looks like it is shipping with slightly less RAM (192M instead of 288M) but we’re not sure where the missing RAM went. There’s more though…
As you can see when the keyboard is open the Verizon Touch Pro shows a different screen than our Fuze shows (we have the eight boxes whereas they still seem to have some sort of Flo going on). There have also been rumors for a long time that the FM chip was neutered from the VZ version (it appears as though the Sprint version is missing it as no one has been able to activate it yet). Worse yet, there was a longstanding rumor that the VZ version would be missing the accelerometer (you know, the thing that makes it know up from down). Well this guide does nothing to squash any of those rumors since there are no mentions of any of them but only time will tell…
