Sprint Touch Pro 2 Available In Stores and Online

image Just a friendly reminder that the Sprint Touch Pro 2 is out for $350 after rebates. We mentioned it would be available today about a week ago but we figured it’s worth a friendly reminder:)  You can go in stores or go online here to get your hands on one.

imageFor those of you wondering, yes, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

By the way, I still find it odd that the keyboard has the Euro and Pound symbols, but no one else seems to think it’s as weird as I do:)

If you picked one up share your thoughts.

It would be great to have a comparison of all the U.S.-carrier versions of the Touch Pro2, i.e. T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T (assuming they do release a version). Or just T-Mobile and Sprint for now…???

And yes, David K, I agree with you that a U.S. phone having pound and Euro symbols on the keyboard is strange.

the symbols are for international use, I believe it’s being marketed as a world business phone..thats why I suppose

Sprint is CDMA, so the phone wouldn’t work in Europe (pounds, Euros…) anyway. Go figure…

jasmithers I believe it is CDMA and GSM. It has a SIM slot inside. This would make it a world phone IF it can accommodate both the US and European frequencies.

For a device with the same chipset as the Touch Pro it performs x10 better. Very solid device!!

@willgill –

I downloaded the Users’ Manual from the HTC Web site, and you are correct — the phone DOES have a SIM card slot (for “GSM roaming,” they say). Thanks for the heads-up.
