Reminder – You Have A Business Card Reader In Your Pocket

One of the greatest pieces of software for the Fuze is actually already on your phone. It’s called WorldCard Mobile and it lets you simply take a photo of a business card and it uses OCR to convert it to text and then imports it right into your contacts and it’s remarkably accurate. It’s located in Programs/Games & Apps at the bottom but don’t miss it. It’s a huge time saver and one of my favorite work related toys…just like the flashlight:)

Another toy for me to play with, now I will be walking around the office scanning everything!

Or you can blind them with the flashlight!

True… I think I need to put down the fuze and back away…

Never give up! Look real serious and point and say: “LOOK! There goes ELVIS! YO KING!” The distraction never fails. Grab your Fuze and bolt in the other direction.

It has never let me down to at least give me a 10 step head start!

CMR you do know that in Windows Live Search you can speak to your Fuze and it will understand you – right? Prove to people you’re not crazy when you talk to your hand…explain the power of the Fuze to them:)

REALLY? Someone just tried to touch my phone on my desk… they have two less fingers now… I suffer from FUZE fury…. JK

I just got my Fuze yesterday and I’m still trying to install NaTF’s ROM update, but had the opportunity to try out the WorldCard Mobile for the first time today. WOW! It worked pretty well. After one card scan, I’m impressed with the accuracy. I recommend this program. It’s more than worth the price we paid for it (free).

I installed NaTF’s ROM and don’t have this anymore. Any idea where I can reinstall it??

It’s there, in Programs > Office Mobile > WorldCard Mobile (according to comments in NTAF posting on XDA

Yes – you’ll notice a second post saying it isn’t there (which it isn’t on mine following 3.2 flash), but they say it is in accessories, which I can’t find on this version either…. ideas?

Found a link through another thread. For those needing this:

Ya…WorldCard Mobile is the great app for managing business card. It works with Windows Mobile-based phone like HTC and iPhone right now. They just release iPhone version on app store
