I’ve been using this for weeks and there are already a ton of great applets in the community section of the site! It’s quick and the applets add a ton of functionality. Meh, was not impressed with this at all. I think Ill stick with TF3D and TouchWiz (yes I have Samsung’s TouchWiz on my Fuze and switch back and fourth between the two).

@Matt –

I actually find it to be a lot less snappy that TF3D. I keep getting slowdowns in PointUI whenever -anything- in the background is doing something.

That said, I’m on qsqa’s Proven1.14a ROM (with your Fuzeberry 5.0 installed), and his 1.1x ROMS seem to be way faster for TF3D than any others I’ve tried. I don’t know what the secret sauce is, but both the original theme from the ROM and yours are much more fluid than I’ve seen operating on any other ROM.

I’d say PointUI for me has been comperable in snappiness to the way TF3D has been on other ROMs.

well I installed this and tried it. I have been looking for ANYTHING to potentially compete and compare to spb mobile shell.
I find this program slick and with A LOT of potential, but it is not there yet. Maybe the pro version will have a lot more features (and all the cities for the weather feature).
I do like the direction in general this program is going, but I just don’t think it compares with mobile shell yet.

Thanks to everyone that answered my questions.

I can’t even imagine TF3D after using this… I don’t have to wait for anything to load up.

I do have a couple very minor gripes. One is that the favorite contacts button should be the one to the far left instead of the recent call activity button. It makes more sense to put the most used button in the first position. Also, I know I can just push the send key to bring up the keypad but I really think there should be a button for that. My girlfriend has trouble using my phone as a phone since it seems like every option is available except the number pad.

Other than those few things I don’t think I really need much more than what it offers, even though I’m sure people will script some cool applets once it’s fully released.

I’m guessing that the Pro version will include the weather cities database as this is the minimal free version. I do have to say it’s allot snappier than TF3D.

My only gripe is the weather cities do not have much to offer. I live near Philly and I don’t care what the weather in NY is…Hopefully they will update.
