Numpty Physics Ported!
Just over a month ago Steve made a plea to the developer of Crayon Physics to port it to WM and received a meh in response. Well Numpty Physics is here to the rescue (which is similar to Crayon Physics but open source). Numpty Physics is a strategy game with simple graphics. You need to use physics to complete a given task. It’s hard as hell:) Oops that was a spoiler I wasn’t supposed to give away:) Each level has an objective and it’s not that simple to figure out parts of the game (like I said…hard as hell) but that’s what makes it challenging and fun. You use your finger to draw lines that leads to reactions. So to move an object you may want to draw a wedge and then circle the object you want to move and put a counterweight on the opposite side
of the wedge to pull it up. If a level is too hard just go to the next one:) The controls are as follows:
UP – previous level
DOWN – Next level
RIGHT – restart animation
LEFT – seems to exit the game
centre button – undoes the lines you’ve drawn
If you need to practice on your desktop you can download it for your PC as well:) This is the work of cthulu for porting it and zwi and limestone for cleaning up the cab which made it install properly. The VGA version (works on the Diamond/Touch Pro/Fuze is available here while the QVGA version (Tilt) is located here. Great work all around guys!

[...] they would take it this far. Thanks again to aceviper2 and to Brian who pointed this out in our comments to Numpty Physics. Share and [...]
freezes my Fuze. requires a soft reset to fix. I always loved crayon physics and I hope I can resolve this issue.
Does this actually work for anyone? Anyone else having problems with it. As far as games go….I don’t play them on cell phones…but this would be very cool.
how the heck do u play this?! is it the first .5 seconds u try to move stuff or just put alot of lines lol
poo – it’s all about physics. So if you have a ball and you want to move it right you can draw a really big ball in the air to fall on the edge of the other ball and when they hit it will collide. Or you can draw a triangle and then a line to create a see-saw and then drop a heavy object on the other side of it to propel it. Or if you draw a line that touches the line the ball is resting on you can make it swing 360 so it will gain momentum and hit the ball to propel it. Or you could drop a line on the ball then add weight on he line so it ’squishes’ the ball and forces it to move forward. There’s a few ways to move a ball:)
DavidK. I’m using NRG’s “Magic” ROM. Build date is 6/30/09.
I think it’s WM 6.5, but the UI is customizable touch flo variation. Looks pretty 6.1 stock. Everything else works fine with this ROM….but it just freezes when I try to run Numpty Physics.
Got any ideas?
For those of you with freezing problems on WM 6.5, here’s your solution:

I have WM6.5 (EnergyROM 3.0) and it froze before I applied this fix. Now the game runs perfectly.
It works fine… as long as i don’t try to toggle out of it. Then my screen flashes back and forth between it and my spbshell screen, and I can’t do anything.
other than that it works like charm, great game.
