Live Search for Mobile is now Bing for Mobile!

Bing Me! Microsoft has updated Live Search Mobile or just renamed it “Bing” as I don’t see any other changes at the moment..

To get the update, with Bing open, go to Menu and click on “Client Update Available” then download it to your device. Once installed, you now have been Binged! Enjoy!

That worked well … froze my phone. After the soft reset I launch the app and I receive the notification “Installation of BingWM6.CAB was unsuccessful.” Guess I’ll try again later … or not.

Worked fine for me. Saved the cab to my Storage card and installed from there. No reset requierd.

the link in the earlier post http://www.fuzemobility.com/introducing-bing-for-mobile-maps-directions-and-local-listings-for-your-mobile-phone/ is already updated. if you click on it and download from there it will give you the updated cab, file.
( hope this makes sense )

When I tried to install the Bing cab, both using cabviactivesync and placed in my phone, I also got the Install was Unsuccessful.

Buth when I opened Live Search on my Fuze, it immediately indicated that there was an update and it installed it directly and without problems.

I usually use GoogleMaps, but LS, now Bing, has some nice upsides including Speech Recognition and an icon screen with a variety of choices for use.
