Let Your Fingers Do the Walking
Let’s be honest. The standard menu that comes with WM 6.1 is far too small to actually be used
by fingers. The enhanced menus found in WM 6.5 are an improvement, but still could be improved.
Well, lucky us. Francesco Carlucci over at xda-developers has created FingerSuite, a highly customizable replacement for the standard WM menus. The great thing about it is that you can customize the background and text colors (I love the white text on black background with dark blue lines separating menu items.
I’ve been using it for a while and it works great: stable and easy to configure.

i really liked this software but i had to uninstall it because it would take a while to scroll and do odd stuff from time to time. other than that, it’s pretty awesome!
My fingers are certainly not petite (I weight in at 215) but I have never had a problem finger tapping selections with the standard menu. I tried an application very similar (not as refined) a few months back but wound up with too many apps on the exception list for various reasons (too much scrolling or non-responsive).
I did accidently happen upon a way to may the standard menu bold face, which makes it easier to see active/inactive selections, and at least gives the perception of making the target bigger. Here is the tweak:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GWE\Menu\PopFnt]
“Ht”=dword:0000044c – Or HT = 1000 (set font to medium size)
“Wt”=dword:000002bc – Or WT = 700 (for Bold Font)
