Let the Cooking Begin
There’s been plenty of excitement over the software advances that the Touch Pro 2 and Diamond 2 were bringing to the table and then when Dutty released a new ROM for the Touch HD the other day we all started to dream of a day when it would be ported to our screen resolution. Well, it’s not there yet but it looks like there is a lot of work is going into this already with multiple attempts in progress to utilize the new manila files (TF3D) that the Touch Pro 2 has to offer. Major progress has already been made by xboxmod and At0mAng at XDA (with the help of many others) and considering the short amount of time they have had to work with these new files the results are already promising. There are a lot of other people working on this as well so lets hope they come together. And while Manila is being worked on there are new versions of the HTC apps that are being ported as well so hopefully in the next few days we’ll be able to get something new to play with, even if it’s just a teaser of what’s to come:)

Anyways, this is like the best news all day… they do have quite a bit of work ahead of them though considering the portrait don’t even have the touchflo bar visible. Unless it is supposed to be that way, and there is a tab to show it like in landscape.
David K Opera was ported last night (just after midnight). The pre-caching is not there though.
Anyone try calling Christina yet? lol
