Is MobilityFlow’s Touch Shell an alternative to TF3D?

First, for those of you that don’t know or heard of Touch Shell,

Touch Shell is an application offering modern and flexible user interface for Windows Mobile Devices. The ultimate must-have for all Windows Mobile Pocket PC Phone users, Touch Shell makes your device more usable than ever and adds rich graphics and fabulous 3D effects to the interface. The application features an additional Today screen, which puts all the most frequently used functions at your fingertips. 

Touch Shell offers two version;

Touch Shell Free

Touch Shell Pro

An advanced version of Touch Shell is also available. It has many additional features:

After using TF3D for quite some time, I decided to look into alternatives. My first choice was Spb Mobile Shell and in my opinion, would be the best alternative but I was looking for a more TF3D like alternative UI and MobileShell was just not that. So then there is MobilityFlows,s Touch Shell which would be the closest replacement. But, can it size up to TF3D?

Third, my review and just my opinion.

So after playing with the free version for a while, I opted not to get the pro version. Here are some of my deciding factors,

I have to admit that I was excided when i first heard and seen Touch Shell and anticipated it’s release. But being spoiled by TF3D, it now only seems to be a good alternative if you have an older device not equipped or capable of running TF3D but even TF2D might have a leg up on it. I’ll leave it up to you to decide…..

go take a look at Point UI at http://www.pointui.com its what I use to replace TF3D and I like it better then TF3D once you put all the custom applets on it. :)

Me too…. I’m waitng for the release of SPB Mobile Shell version 3.0. The initial press releases said that the general public release was to be in late March ‘09. Any rumblings about when the release will actually released?

SPB Mobile Shell is supposed to be releasing a new version 3.0, hopefully an day now, they have released a few sneak peeks though.

Why don’t you do a review on ThrottleLauncher, it seems to be much better then this program and it is free :D

Great product. After long research, it seems as Garmin is best gps product over all.
Signal is always good, fast re-route calculation, easy to use and more user friendly.
The product is little bit high but it’s worth every penny.
