Get a new Tilt 2 for $100 (through AT&T)
HTC was running a promotion a while back allowing you to trade in your old smartphone to receive a $100 credit on your purchase of a new AT&T Tilt 2. When the in-contract/after-rebate price was $349, $100 off helped significantly. Shortly after that promotion expired on January 31st, AT&T dropped the in-contract price of the Tilt 2 to $199 (after $50 rebate). Well, HTC has decided to restart the promotion, running it again until April 30th (beginning 2/11). Simply put, they will give you a $100 credit to send them your old smartphone (“To qualify for the promotion you must trade-in a working smartphone made by BlackBerry®, an Apple® iPhone, a Palm device by Palm, a Nokia smartphone or any device running on the Windows Mobile® or AndroidTM operating system.”) The list dates back several generations of phones, so be sure to check out the current promotion by clicking here.

John henry I called and was told that starting 2/11 thru 4/30 that you could purchase a Tilt 2 or a PURE and get a $100 off when you trade in any carriers working smartphone. Email or Call them if it isnt on the list.

KCMatt Awesome! I think I’m going to make the upgrade. Even though it is a minor step up from the Fuze, and I hate supporting HTC and their no-3.5mm-audio-jack ways, my Fuze is literally falling apart and I do think I’ll like the bigger screen and nicer keyboard.
Also, what do you think HTC wants all the old phones for?
jimski They will probably use your old phone for fill in an abandoned mine. Every old phone they take off the street is another opportunity to sell a new handset. Then again, they may have charitable intentions (a good thing) but driven by the same motive, which is simply good business.

I sent an email asking why the samsung jack was not on the list and the blackjack is and the email I recieved in return was that the smartphone promotion has ended
