Experiment 13 – You Must Try This Game
Remember when Xtrakt was ripped from the Xperia? Well this time Experiment 13 has been ripped from the Xperia 2 thanks to Ganondolf of XDA and this game is from the same developer and more than delivers in all respects. The game itself really has that fully developed feel that you can only get from a major developer with the resources to add the niceties of things like a story line and game tutorials. The concept is pretty simple – you need to navigate around the board and get all of the ‘energy spheres’ before being allowed to go to the next level. The game play involves using the touch screen (the accelerometer will not work on HTC devices) and you can control left/right by simply pressing in that direction and you can jump diagonally left/right or up. The lower left and lower right hand onscreen buttons rotate the screen so what was the floor becomes the wall. As you play you learn how to use the screen rotation and jump together to save time and avoid traps. It actually requires a bit of foresight. The game play is extremely fun and like Xtrakt the levels go by fast and keep the pace moving. And the graphics are seriously good. Everything is fluid looking and intentionally cartoony but it works very well together. It’s one of the best games I’ve played in terms of both the look and enjoyment of play.
A few notes though. If you have a VGA phone (like the Fuze) then the left and right edges will be cut off so if you want to move left/right you need to tap all the way at the edge of the screen (and the exit button is just showing but not entirely exposed). You can see this in the pics I took. In WVGA you get a beautiful full screen experience. I also highly recommend playing the tutorial the first time you play this game. It will save you time trying to figure out some of the simple ways to navigate around.
Thanks again to Ganondolf for taking the time to extract the application. The download can be found here at XDA and here at 1800PocketPC who also gets credit for digging up this gem. This will keep me busy for a while:)

Anyone have an alternate download link? The RS is only open to premium users and the other link is connected to a server that keeps resetting the connection.
Respect to Ganondolf for putting the cab together but let me take it a step further and give you a straight up non-rapidshare link:

Weird thing to say, that rapidshare is going downhill, but somehow it actually continues to suck more and more.
hey thanx for that .cab link, rapidshare doesnt work for me either. any chance you have a non rapidshare .cab for xtract?
this game is pretty cool, although i wish it was in vga display for my fuze, its still playable.
Of course I do. I’m the blownfuze guy.

great upload the only thing is that the screen resolution needs to be slightly reworked since the sides are missing.. almost kinda like pan and scan kinda thing. Anyways, I hope he comes out with a new version that fits the fuze’s screen
hey thanks for that link, doug! i love blownfuze.org btw
yea mike, those games are made for a wvga screen so it gets cutoff on the fuze/touchpro. i think the only way to fix that is to buy a tilt2/touchpro2, lol.
oo ouch. I love my fuze, i’ll probably have to hold out until the 3rd generation one comes out w a sexy tegra or tegra 2 or snapdragon , whatever the 1ghz + processors come out.
I’m also not a fan of the tilt mechanism.. so i’ll hold out……. for now…
lol i didnt mean to rag on u bro, i am still on a fuze too and i love it! i think the tilt2 looks too much like the iphone.. i like the square looks of the fuze better. i am probably gonna wait it out untill the next one also, if i cant wait any longer, ide have to switch over to an xperia x2 or a nokia n900.. kinda wanna stay with htc and winmo but well see if theres anything that catches my eye
Mike V… He didn’t create the game he only ported it over. I seriously doubt he’s going to recreate the graphics on that game so it can fit your Fuze. Be happy he has it working on the fuze. Xtract is the same way.
i know Jimmy. I read the whole post. I was only hoping that he might know of a way in a hidden system settings file to change the resolution or something like that.
@ abdul i know you’re not raggin on me. I’m just sorta kinda voicing my thoughts out loud.
Played till world 7 on the 1st game on X1. Addictive and FUN!
Need any help till world 7, ping me at – akshay . live @ gmail . com (without spaces)
I played the game on my FUZE… yes it is playable on it, give it a shot if you haven’t… the right and left parts of the screen are cut off, but you can still play it. i got all the way to level 3 in world 9 (that is finished 42 levels out of the 45) and it is a great game.
but seems i need to be better in these previous levels to finish the next few because i am stuck at level 3 in world 9
if anybody got past this level, please tell me how!
Hey guys, great game indeed ! I played on my fuze, so got the edges cut, but never mind.
I have a question, If I have completed till world 4, and world 5, level 2, and then exited. Next time how do I directly go and choose world 5 ? The screen just shows me till world 4.
Plss.. Help !
