Change Your Carrier Name…with Personalizer
If there’s something that can be changed then let’s change it:) Here’s the latest from CodyPPC which is an updated version of Personalizer – an app that lets you change the carrier name on your phone to anything you want. So no more AT&T in the corner…for now on I presume you’ll all have FuzeMobility as your carrier, right?:)
The app can be turned on and off or removed entirely to revert back to the stock carrier. It also survives a soft reset. You can download it from PPCGeeks and of course if you like it feel free to buy a cup of coffee for CodyPPC. Thanks also to l3it3r and LcBoi in our forums for their testing.

If anyone is interested, this works on WM6.5 and I changed my carrier to MobileMatt of course…. Thanks David K.
@stefan I miss BAM.. The good old days of worrying about if you were in your calling area or not!
I’ve got mine set to “Chris’s Fuze” – not that it really matters since I’ve got SPB Mobile Shell.
I love this little tweak. It’s one of the first items to be installed after a hard reset or ROM upgrade. I’ve got my phone switched to say ‘BOOBS’. Now I need a ‘carrier logo’ to go with it for S2U2.
smis- that’s not TF3D- that’s the old HTC Home: http://www.mobilitydigest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1679
I’m using it now on my Fuze actually:)
Mine’s been set as Xbox360Digest =P
@jimski if any does get confused by that you need to give them the should’ve had a v8 facepalm =)
I work at T-Mobile so I changed it from Sprint on my Touch Vogue to T-Mobile. I also changed the digitizer screen to one with the HTC logo instead of the Sprint logo. Total stealth at work!

For some reason after the first install (installed in main memory) it did not show up in Programs, although it created a folder in Program Files. Tried a soft reset but it still was not there. Reinstalled the cab and all is better.
I think I will try HTC for now (although Fuse Mobility does have a nice ring). So far I see HTC on my TF3D and Dialer screens. Don’t know where else to look.
