I upgraded from the Tilt to the Tilt2, and I am in love with this phone!!!! I think people upgrading will be very happy with it. I’m just like you. I was a previous Sony Clie user and have been trying to replicate that experience ever since. The Tilt 2 does it for me. My only downside is that a lot of applications (particularly epocrates) have not been updated to windows mobile 6.5 yet, and the marketplace won’t let you install to a storage card yet.

I prefer the Windows 6.5 interface. I find the TouchFlo UI to get in the way and it slows the phone down. It looks nice but it doesn’t help anything. See here: http://www.bowlesonline.com/my-new-att-tilt-2-by-htc-windows-phone-6-5/

Hello Doug, I am Brazilian and a friend brought some Tilt II after a visit to the U.S., and since yesterday I am a happy User here in Brazil this wonderful phone.
I follow since the beginning of the year the blog and for sure he was in deciding to purchase the Tilt II, I hope you continue this excellent work and please excuse my poor English.

Can we have some input on differences between the Tilt2 and other carrier’s Touch Pro 2?? I know when the Fuze came out other Carriers released their versions at later times but now all of the touch pro2’s are out for Verizon, Sprint, & T-Mobile. And even though i want the Tilt2 and believe it looks the best its not cheap for a good monthly plan so i would like to see how comparable are the other; aside from WM 6.5 vs 6.1

if the Tilt2 does not have this as an option then the registry will have to be tweaked:)

OK – so I have a fuze with a broken screen. Would you reccomend I spend the $140 or so (if you have a less expensive repair place, please let me know) to fix the screen and wait for HD2 or just get a Tilt 2 to replace it?

I am curious as to why the review claims to have a VGA (640X480) quality recording capability for video?

The Tilt 2 does not list this option for recording quality. Does anyone have an update on this? …

No one really liked it for photos, we miss the flashlight app! LMAO

I forgot to mention the Flash on the camera… I got a littel cross eyed towards the end of this thing…

there is no flash for the camera at all

but knowing this is takes perfect night pics even with out the flash light
